Application of angular displacement sensor in industrial robot

With the rapid development of electronic technology, many electronic devices around us can operate without human contact, and can also perceive things and objects around us like people. For this technology, displacement sensors play an integral role in providing information to electronic devices.

The improvement of the performance of industrial robots and the reduction of manufacturing costs have made the replacement of modern enterprise machines a boom. In order to improve its environmental adaptability and working accuracy, it is usually necessary to integrate many sensors, such as force sensors, Angle sensors, vision sensors and displacement sensors.

Displacement sensors are usually installed on the joints of industrial robots. Its role is to detect the displacement of each joint of the industrial robot and provide position control information, so that the industrial robot can achieve accurate positioning. The control accuracy of industrial robots usually depends on the measurement and control accuracy of such sensors. If its measurement and control accuracy is too low, then the industrial robot will have no way to accurately locate or grasp the phenomenon of objects.

The R36AS RVDT (Rotary Variable Differential Transformer) is an angular displacement sensor with a proprietary non-contact design that significantly improves long-term reliability compared to other traditional rotating devices such as synchronizers, rotary transformers and potentiometers.
