Wireless receivers can be paired with multiple sensors, so spare components can be prepared in the event of collision damage, for example, to pair them and work immediately. On some cars, one receiver can be used to pick up all four tire temperature sensors, but sometimes two receivers are needed, one for the front and one for the rear.
