Micro acceleration sensor

Micro accelerometers usually consist of an elastic element (such as an elastic beam) that suspends an inertial mass from a reference bracket. The acceleration causes the relative displacement between the reference frame and the inertial mass, which is measured by strain or displacement through a voltage dependent resistor or adjustable capacitor to obtain the acceleration value.
