Laser displacement sensor can be widely used for real-time thickness measurement of various materials on the production line. It has the characteristics of non-contact measurement, no damage to the surface of the object, no environmental pollution, strong anti-interference ability, and is an important thickness measurement system for product quality control in the production line.
The laser displacement sensor LT5020 determines the flatness of the glass by measuring the distance of the glass as it passes through the sensor.
When the glass passes through the detection range of the laser displacement sensor, the laser transmitter shines the visible red laser at the surface of the tested glass through the lens, the laser reflected by the glass passes through the receiver, and the digital signal processor calculates the distance between the sensor and the tested glass. If the detected distance is greater than or less than the value learned by the sensor, there is a height difference. It is determined that there is a problem with the flatness of the glass, and the laser displacement sensor outputs the signal to the PLC and makes an alarm signal.
