PACE6000 Aero pneumatic pressure controller, developed specifically for aerospace customers, is the next generation of the PACE family of high precision, modular pressure control and display instruments. Its software, written specifically for aerospace applications, is compatible with all aerospace measurement parameters, especially its outstanding single- or dual-range configurations, which provide a high cost advantage by offering two high-precision calibrated instruments in a single unit. With its high accuracy, high speed and long-term stable control performance, the PACE6000Aero is a reliable and cost-effective aerospace calibration instrument designed for the avionics shop/laboratory environment.
The PACE6000 Aero is designed for accurate instrument calibration and reads aviation parameters such as airspeed in nautical miles, kilometers per hour, miles per hour or Mach number, altitude in feet or meters, and rate of climb in units per minute or units per second," says Mark Singleton, product manager. It provides high accuracy and dual range calibration capability. Its modular design ensures extremely low equipment maintenance time."
PACE 6000 Aero is based on the field-proven, highly reliable Druck DPI 515 platform with fully digital control, the latest generation of piezoresistive sensors and pulse width modulated control valves. This all results in a high control stability control with 10 ppm and high control speed. It is available with dual channel display or single channel display, while the dual output range is up to 910 knots or 80,000 feet. Designed for 19" rack systems, it is equally at home as a laboratory benchtop unit and is ideal for automated process areas requiring fast and accurate pressure control.
As with all instruments in the PACE family, the modular design of this new display/controller allows users to enjoy the convenience of quick and easy component replacement, greatly reducing maintenance time and instrument control range changeover time. Modularity also means fewer instrument and meter components for the calibration lab, thus reducing the cost of ownership for the user.
PACE 6000 Aero is equipped with a range of options, including external RS232, IEEE, USB, Ethernet (VXI-11) and CAN buses, and the operation and setup menus can be set to any of the world's major language interfaces. Analog outputs and passive contacts are also available.
