Wireless pressure sensor monitoring ground conditions

Large ships would need to build a new wharf, but two pipes with a diameter of about 2.5 meters near the shore prevented the project from working properly. For this reason, the two pipes at the bottom of the canal had to be moved about 10 meters from the shore.

In order to be able to monitor the conditions at the bottom of the pipe in real time during the time the pipe is placed, the sensor is installed in a plastic pipe and placed at the bottom of the channel by professional divers. The reason for this is that there is a drinking water pipe and power cable at the bottom of the channel, just a few meters away from where the pipe is placed. The MEAS M5600 wireless pressure sensor provides remote process control and monitoring via Bluetooth ® 4.0 wireless communication technology. This makes the movement at the bottom of the channel visible and allows the operator to stop if the bottom of the channel drops significantly.
