Laser displacement sensors are used for non-contact measurement of displacement, velocity, acceleration, vibration, deformation and profile in static and dynamic applications in research and industry to improve quality and save costs.
Measurement ranges from 2 to 750 millimeters. Thanks to non-contact measurement, you avoid forces on the target as well as wear and tear on the target and sensor surfaces. Since the laser dot has no mass, it follows the target at the same speed.
