  LVC-4000 is a stand-alone signal conditioner that supports a wide range of DC LVDTs, RVDTs, and half-bridge sensors while providing several options for voltage, current, rs-485, and digital outputs. Compared to signal conditioners with span and offset trim potentials, push-button calibration provides intuitive operation.Fault status (e.g., disconnection on LVDT and RVDT connections) is indicated by flashing LEDs, fault status error outputs, and error flag electrode open signals (see manual for details.) The LVC-4000 operates on a 10-30v DC supply voltage and is enclosed in a polyamide DIN rail mount housing. For convenience, calibration instructions, terminal functions, LVDT connection diagrams and dip switch functions are printed on the side panel. To synchronize with other signal conditioners, simply connect them to the synchronization bus using a daisy chain connection. Depending on the dip switch priority setting, one unit will assume the primary function If a failure occurs, the next highest priority unit will take over the primary function.
